Inspired Acoustics (IA), a division of Entel, specializes in research and development related to acoustics and audio technology, and creates award-winning products and media content for the audio, music, film and research industries.

It previously developed Shirokuma’s Notre Dame de Budapest Pipe Organ Samples, the market leading pipe organ sample library for Tascam's GigaStudio and Native Instruments' Kontakt software players.

Retail products

Portions of Inspired Acoustics (IA) products retail sales earnings, following a unique mission in the sampling industry, financially support the real pipe organ installations in significant amounts. Inspired Acoustics' business model was introduced before it became compatible with the Hauptwerk platform, during 2004, in the form of the Notre Dame de Budapest Pipe Organ Samples product. Inspired Acoustics released its first virtual pipe organ for the Hauptwerk platform in 2008, but monitored and experimented with the development of Hauptwerk virtual instrument software since 2002. IA's first Hauptwerk instrument debuted as the largest ever virtual pipe organ with all functions of the stage console faithfully virtualized: the Palace of Arts Budapest Pipe Organ Samples abbreviated as PAB. PAB produced a significant interest in the Hauptwerk community with its quality, sheer sample size, a new virtual combination capture system, and graphical features. Among the first ten customers of PAB was a European music conservatory for a 2009 performance hall installation.
